The Poison perfume range from Christian Dior is a collection of five different scents, the first scent is simply called Poison and was released in 1985, four other perfumes have been released in the range since and are some of the most popular ladies perfumes worldwide.
The five womens fragrances in the range are, Poison, Tendre Poison, Midnight Poison, Pure Poison and Hypnotic Poison.
My personal favorite of the poison perfume range from Dior is Pure Poison, while it may not be everyone’s choice in the range, with most people preferring the original scent, I found it overwhelmingly appealing and as soon as I first tested it I knew it would quickly become one of my favorite ladies perfumes.
Poison by Dior was first released in the 1980′s and was introduced as a scent that would be both seductive as well as sensual. The poison range lives up to both and all of the fragrances have a very appealing quality.
Pure poison perfume is a distinctive blend of sandalwood (said to have aphrodisiac qualities) jasmine, amber and gardenia. Midnight poison perfume was released in 2007 and is a floral fragrance that blends notes of orange, french vanilla, patchouli and mandarin to give it a sweet scent that gradually mellows.
Hypnotic perfume blends jacarandra, vanilla and jasmine and is a really intoxicating perfume that is very feminine and appealing. Tendre poison is another sweet and floral blend that also uses sandlewood and vanilla with a touch of freesia. Its a lighter perfume but still much more of a nighttime scent.
