Guerlain Samsara Perfume

Samsara perfume is a creation of Guerlain in Paris and was first released in 1989. It is another timeless scent similar to the family of fragrances from which it hales, such as Shalimar released in 1925 by the house of Guerlain. The feminine scent of Samsara is making its own timeless stamp in the world of fragrance.
The woody oriental fragrance is refined and has hints of iris, jasmine, violets, sandalwood, vanilla, rose and amber. The main notes are jasmine and sandalwood. The scent is very rare and tends to linger allowing the wearer to capture subtle hints of the fragrance throughout the day. The scent is classified as a refined oriental fragrance. Its name is a reference to the cycle of birth in Hindu reincarnation.

Samsara comes in an eau de perfume, an eau de toilet spray and a body cream. A perfume differs from an eau de toilet by the amount of concentration of oils in the fragrance. Cologne has 3-5% essential oils, while an eau de toilet uses 6-10% essential oils in alcohol and water base. A perfume has very little water and alcohol added and thus is the purest form of fragrance.
